Dude.  
So my laptop... died. I had it on while I was working and I guess it was running off the battery while plugged into the AC. I looked at it and it said 4 minutes remaining, and I was like, "WTF^^???" And then it just died. And now it won't turn back on. I've tried it in different power outlets. For some reason it's not registering that it is indeed plugged into an outlet. I checked all the connections. Everything's okay. Does anyone know what might cause something like this?

Took apart my desk and am now sitting on the floor with my desktop. Heh.

If I remember right, it's a problem with the power cord. You should be able to get a new power cord pretty easily. Good luck, hon.

I believe you are exactly right as the light on the AC adapter lights up when it plugs into the wall and then fades out as if it's not plugged in at all. Fooey!

Alex's laptop used to do that too, but it just wasn't pluged in right. So your on your own, lol. Thats bullshit that your brand new laptop needs a new power cord. Fuck that shit yo! Thats Wack!
